Our story

From the mid 1980’s, Giulia Scalvini worked as a creative talent with the well-known Italian magazine Rakam, part of the Gruppo Rusconi.

Following the success of this collaboration with Rakam, with many readers contacting the editor about buying creations proposed in the magazine’s pages, she decided to create her own collection of home items with a difference, to be presented for the first time in Milan at the MACEF trade show. More trade shows immediately followed, such as Florence’s PITTI, the Milan SALONE DEL MOBILE, the Paris SALONE DEL MOBILE at Porte de Versailles, ABITARE IL TEMPO at Verona.

At the beginning of the new millennium, Maison Claire was in continuous expansion and took part in a great many international shows in France, Germany, Russia, the Emirates, Japan and Singapore, becoming well known around the world.

The company’s growth was exponential during the first decade of the century, becoming well known worldwide and moving to a new facility that covers an area of 1250 square metres in Doccio, Quarona.

In more recent times, Maison Claire has continued to be successful in entering international markets worldwide, from Asia to America, Europe and Africa, in haute couture boutiques and working side by side with well-established Architectural Design Studios on important projects for ultra high net worth clients, carving a niche for itself in the field of Authentic Made In Italy Luxury Craftsmanship.

Today there is great enthusiasm for the creativity of both Clara and Giulia and their Team, all women, who will certainly keep us dreaming and discovering new worlds and new collections.
